Lethal Pursuer is unhealthy for the game in its current state

This right here is why I keep saying over and over again that distortion is a bad perk.

This is so wrong. Im sorry, but youre wrong. I was playing literally a couple of hours ago. We spawned in on clowns map. I literally took three-four steps (I run sprint burst, so I wasnt running) and the killer (Billy) downed the survivor that I spawned right next to. We were in the match for no more than just a few seconds. That survivor was supposed to do…what exactly? The second they spawn into the match run for cover against a killer they have 0 information or location on? Please enlighten me.

Lethal pursuer is not relevant for me, so your arguments are invalid.

I main Hillbilly and I have used Lethal Pursuer in quite a few matches on him. It takes a bit before you get to a survivor even with it. Chances are, if he really got a down that quick he was already right next to you as you spawned and the other survivor didn't take the chainsaw noise and TR as a warning. Meaning he got lucky with the spawn and a careless survivor. This is not an issue with Lethal Pursuer.

Distortion is a plague in this game.
It's bad for both killer and survs.
For killers it's extremely stupid and boring to waste time finding survs that have no chase skills and want to be hiding the entire trial.
For survs it's even worse because these same Distortion users are not learning new skills to become better survs and also keep hiding even when they suppose to get hooks for their teammates that already have 2.1 -
Umm...OK, well, this is a discussion about Lethal Pursuer. If you want to join the rest of us, you're more than welcome. What this isnt is a discussion about gen slow down. If you wanna discuss that, go ahead in another thread. Also this will be my last response to you because all you seem to want to do now is channel the energy of a 12 year old kid that isnt getting their way.

Said the guy uses "handouts" in argument...
You can't even describe property why is it supposed to get bad, just try to frame it with name as a bad thing.
All I see is git gud situation.

I would argue that distortion is bad for survivors unless everyone is using it for 2 reasons:
1) It puts too much pressure on the other three survivors
2) Too many aura perks/add ons in play that eat through stacks faster than you can get them back
Its just not really providing much benefit and we can see that in Distortions use and win rate.0 -
Well I would argue its still an issue with Lethal Pursuer because its possible that the Billy wouldnt have found him. Or me, technically, as I was there too. Its just too much information at a time when information shouldnt be given out without some type of penalty.

[…] too much information […]
We are not talking about permanent aura vision or even aura vision in chase but a perk that is supposed to help the killer get into their first chase as quickly as possible, which is exactly what it does and nothing more. That has been the case since its release and that part hasn't been an issue. Lethal Pursuer has been in this game for almost 3 years (just a few more days) and it has always worked in that exact way. If that part was actually problematic, then that would have been the case from the very start.
But the thing is, that you have enough of a warning for a Hillbilly approaching you and Nurse and Blight are issues of their own. This also hasn't changed in 3 years and it was never an issue with the perk either. If we really want to do something against this, then let their powers start on a 10 seconds cooldown. Nurse is strong enough to come back anyway and Billy and Blight would start as M1 killers, which isn't that bad. There is no need to nerf a perk that isn't problematic.

Because there isn't anything else better to complain about because generator control got nerfed recently?
Nurse, I am convinced, just needs a full on power rework. It's absurd in the game about looping that we have a Killer that hard counters the most fun aspect of the game, the chase.
Anyway, Lethal Pursuer is deadass not a problem on 95% of the Killer roster. The problem is, as Yharwick pointed out, really strong Killers using it. The solution isn't to nerf Lethal, it's to nerf those Killers' ability to use Lethal.
