Boons need a limit to their vertical range
Tell me why a boon placed in the furthest corner of the deepest pit of Vecna's tower, affects the top level of the map. No player is ever going to walk all the way down there to kick it, while giving up all of that pressure. Same issue with other maze-like indoor maps. It's way too big of a time investment to find it and kick it.

Boons are limited benefits that should extend the entire radius. Also lets be totally honest there is only 2 that give killers real problems at BEST and that is Shadows and Healing. Exceptional, that stupid worthless haste, and reveal all gens are not good.

Exponential misses more than it hits, but when you get value out of it it's game winning. It's saved a few games vs oni and twins for me.

Thats the point when people show example of how broken it is they neglect 90% of the matches it does nothing.

that is how boon would be if they were effective perks with decent radius.

What are you trying to say with this post? Who are "people"? I've never seen anyone say exponential is broken. I'm not saying it. I'm saying it's got a very good reward for when it does do stuff, which is rare

Maybe they should rework boons to be a one time thing: you snuff the boon, the totem breaks and thats it. Even if it means to give some tweaks to boons percentages and effects.
They are not quite annoying as they were back then but they can be unbearable annoying in a coordinate team forcing 2 floor maps to get the most value of it.

Then they have to much more to justify one time use. Hexes alter the game not even Shadow Step does that and the Killer knows its there and good killers know Totem layout spawns each map.
