Bardic Inspiration interfering with Party Totems

Member, Alpha Surveyor Posts: 7,761

Both Bardic Inspiration and party totems are bound to Activate Ability 1 and it's making it nearly impossible to accept the party totem. Even actively pushing against the totem is only causing the option to do the party totem to flicker. If I do manage to activate a party totem it causes Bardic Inspiration to go into cooldown at the same time. This really sucks.

There are too many things tied to the same input binding!!

Bardic Inspiration, Any Means Necessary, Diversion, and Accept Party Totem all use the same Activate Ability 1 binding. This is ridiculous and really difficult to play around. I'm often doing something other than what I want and then I'm on cool down forever or just dead. Did I mention how much this sucks? Because it really sucks. I should have some kind of control over this so I can use these perks without them all fighting each other.

If I crouch at the party totem it won't use Bardic Inspiration… but instead it'll eat my Diversion token.

Why does accepting the Party Totem use the Activate Ability 1 button instead of the Interaction button like normal cleansing? It doesn't give cleansing as an option, anyway, you have to do the party thing first, so why can't it just use the Interaction button? This is frustrating.
