Scratch marks have been incredibly inconsistent since the UE5 update

Im on PC, but I'm sure this effects everyone. When playing killer the scratch marks are so incredibly inconsistent and with the Anniversary Event with survivors stealth ability that hides pools of blood, and audio, the only consistent tracking mechanism is gone. I have some hearing complications, used to have tinnitus and it now affects how i process sound, so I rely mostly on visuals. But that is like- near impossible now and its really making the event super frustrating from my personal experience. As I can't track consistently and once they are injured, it still does not help because they will turn on quiet mode. I don't have a problem with quiet mode. But I do have a problem with the fact before and during this event scratch marks have been horrid. Quiet mode does not help (because it removes pools of blood idc about the audio).

I put bots into a match on The Game, where this problem is most prevalent because of indoor maps. You can see that the scratch marks spawn heavily on the walls, and are very spread apart.

I'd also like to note they spawn like 2 seconds later then they are supposed to.

This is less severe on outdoor maps because they cannot spawn on walls, but the spacing and delay is just as inconsistent.

PLEASE fix this it is incredibly important to all killers in DBDs community but especially those with hearing impairments


WITH THE DEV UPDATE this is even more important with Iron will being rebuffed. It’s awesome iron will got buffed, but PLEASE fix scratch marks iron will plus this will be super impactful on killer gameplay.

    Noticed this also. As if there are less scratch marks now.
