Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Event Hook Bug

I encountered this bug while playing on ps4. It's an in game bug that causes survivors to become permanently stuck in the killers grasp for the rest of the trial forcing the killer to dc. I was always playing survivor when this occurs, but I would spectate if I wasn't the victim of that bug and endgame collapse didn't even solve the problem. Even while stuck being carried, the killer could still vault, use their power, break pallets, close hatch, interact with lockers, and etc. This bug seems to occur whenever a survivor is getting a save on their teammate during the masquerade event, during the save the killer would spam the remote hook button mid save and then the survivor being picked up would get stuck on the killer and then a different survivor (Even fully healed) would get hooked instead from across the map. This would occur during any save I believe, but the save that it happenned to me with were flashlight saves, pallet saves, head on saves, poer struggle self saves, and party pallet saves. This has happened to me quite consistently and I feel bad that this happens to both the survivor and killer affected because the survivor is stuck and the killer has to dc loosing all their score.

This picture is a match I was playing Jonah and this bug happened to me when my friend should have got a pallet save.
