Xenomorph survivor pick-up

When Xenomorph picked up my character and attempted to hook me, the character ended up stuck to her body for the full game, neither parties able to do anything. We tried to stun save and flashlight save and even pick up another survivor. I stayed in this position for the entire game and when the gates opened and the timer ran out, instead of ending the game with me being killed; I remained stuck until the killer disconnected from the match.
