Using key to open hatch uses incorrect button assignment

When I use a toolbox to work on a gen, it uses the "Use Item" button. When I use a medkit to heal, it uses the "Use Item" button. When I use a key to open the hatch, it uses the "Pick up item/Interactions" button (the button used for repairing a gen, using Self-Care, healing someone else without a med kit, and opening an exit gate).

When: Every time I try to use a key

On top of this, when in the dying state and trying to escape through an open hatch, the game defaults to "Recover" (even if I'm fully recovered) instead of escaping. If I have Self-Care and am injured and try to escape through an open hatch, it defaults to Self-Care. This can lose a lot of precious time when trying to escape through the hatch.

All of the issues mentioned above (wrong button, defaulting to Recovering, defaulting to Self-Care) have resulted in my death numerous times. This isn't an inconvenience, it's a game-loser.

    Maybe I should add, I know that the key add-ons use the "Use Item" button. That shouldn't matter. If you're standing on the hatch and the ability to open the hatch is an option, the survivor is not trying to use the add-ons. Whether I'm trying to heal myself (with Self-Care) or another survivor, it's the same button. Whether I'm trying to heal myself or another survivor with a medkit, it's the same button. So whether I'm trying to use a key alone or at the hatch, it is expected to be the same button. Because of all that, this seems like a bug or an oversight rather than intended, because if it's intended it's not intuitive.
