Why Is Hag Still 110%? She Should be 115%

We see a lot of killers now that come out with their reasoning of being 110 movement speed being that they have a very strong dash ability. Nurse is slow cause of her blinks, Chucky is 110 cause of slice and dice, huntress is 110 because of her range, spirit because of her speed. However when you compare them to killers like trickster who is now 115, and even killers like blight who has an insanely strong dash ability, they are still 115 and they work just fine. (Not to strong or overwhelming).

At this point hags most recent changes feel really good and she is a great killer, but the main issue is that even teleporting to a trap can take forever to catch up and actually secure the hit if the survivor plays it right.

She has no dash ability

She has no ranged ability

And she is much like trapper (if he spawned with all his traps) and he is still 115

She should simply be 115! I see no reason not too. It would help make it easier to get around the map + easier to set up traps around the map while also decentivising having to stay in one area cause of how slow she is.

The ranged killers can pressure things from far away even with their slow speed and dash killers like spirit and chucky can get around the map with their speed/stealth. Hag simply doesn't have that and needs to be 115 to make up for it.

Even after the buffs nobody plays her and I think this simple but strong change would be a huge QOL for all hag players!

115% m/s hag is something that i have stated in the past. I am not entirely sure why she is 4.4 m/s but my best guess is that they want to make her bait-trap gameplay from survivor more effective. If she is 4.6 m/s and she teleports, the faster base m/s she catch-up to the survivor quicker allowing her to place traps where survivor has to manually disable it over just use the tech to trigger the trap then run to nearest loop.

Another potencial reason is to keep trapper parity. many people consider hag's traps to be a stronger version of trapper due to the non-requirement to pick-up traps and the much faster setup time+the ability to camp hooks with said ability. In order to keep hag closer to Trapper level in power, 4.4 m/s is put. As for why you would use Trapper power-level as baseline to Hag remains a mystery. Trapper is rated as one of the worst killer in dbd from competitive stand-point so using him, an extremely low perceived beachmark remains a mystery.

At the same time, The 3rd trapping killer, skull merchant receives lots of d/c's because she ends up being stronger then both of these killers. Many players display symptoms to dislike playing vs trapping killers. As a result, the strategy could simply be to keep trapping killer as weak archetype due survivor bias/dislike vs said killer. Whether this dislike comes from Generator camping(3 gens), Hooking camping or the direct zoning of the trap[killer places trap, survivor leaves loop or get directly outplayed with Perceived 0 skill requirement] are all possible valid reasons for said dislike.

Well it’s hard to even call those “buffs” as the base kit wipe away of her traps was a massive nerf that nulled a lot of the buffs she got. She could still use substantial buffs since she’s so easy to counter now. 115% doesn’t even sound unreasonable.

She doesn't really need to be faster. Chase hags aren't great. It's all about teleporting to traps and getting hits that way. I think after good trap pressure speed is irrelevant.

Her Traps have a significantly bigger radius than Trapper's. She also gets more of them.

Hag is already pretty obnoxious at 4.4m/s, I don't think she needs to be 4.6.

She gets kinda harmless once survivors learn to run backwards into traps. That's the moment where she really feels 110%.... Unless she use Shackles.
