Can we change the ranking system ?

I play a lot with the old rank system,I liked him, but I understand that others didn't like him.

However, with the old ranking system a win was easy to understand : i rank up ? win, i rank down ? lose.

Now with the SBMM system all my game are being stomped by killer or stomp him. Moreover, all my mates are leaving the game because when we play together we face some killer with a lot of skill and sometime more than 2K hours on the game and they have almost 150 hours, so they don't find it fun anymore to play.

grades and mmr should be linked

This was always an "issue" even with old rank system.

If you put 1/2 rank 1 survivors, even if other two were rank 20 you were about to find someone on higher end.

But changing match making to find someone on lower end of the group is also not optimal, but for the killer.

I dont ask to be back in 2017 with the same old system.
I ask to linked the grades and mmr, also dont let group with to much distant rank play together , like all pvp game with a good mmr

So instead of getting them higher, you wouldn't be able to play with them at all... Wow, sooo much better

Actualy they dont play, they only be found by lethal and die in 2 sec, do yes its better if they can grind and learn with a system you can see like grades and see when you are doing a good or bad game with gain/loss rank.

You can create the system for yourself. Don't play with them until they are good enough. Boom, fixed.
No need to force your issue on everyone else.

you miss the point, I ask to link the rank and the mmr.
Currently you can move up in rank and believe that you are progressing when that is not true.
moreover, I have 800 hours, when we face a 2000hour killer with 2 ppl at 150 hours, one at 600 one at 800 and we are being blast in 20 seconds that a huge problem with actual ranking system

In the old system, the exact same result would be classed as a win at rank 20, but a loss at rank 1, even though the ranks just reflected what day of the month it was.

As killer, I always consided 3 kills as a win and 1 kill as a loss, no matter what convoluted rank, grade or MMR system tells me.

Survivor makes it a bit more complicated admittedly.

As a survivor the only win is escape by gate as you can read on dbd wiki how smmr work.
But with a rank system link to grades you can just put cursor on grades and read how to improve yourself.
