Stuck In Animation

This happened while playing as Lara Croft, the killer was Albert Wesker and every time he would do his bound attack, I would get stuck afterwards in the animation where I'm holding onto his tentacle arm (??), for lack of a better word, and have to try to continue running like that until I'm downed or was out of the exit gate.
