What's the best key binds for controller? | PS5

One of my biggest gripes about playing on a controller is having multiple actions bound to one button.
Examples are:

Throwing a pallet, healing teammates, vaulting, and even disarming traps are all bound to the R1 button by default.

Any tips to make my key binds not all do the same actions are welcome and appreciated, thank you!

    That's how I have mine set up. Sometimes, depending on the event, I may mess with what button is used for "activate event ability," but otherwise this serves me well.

    Edit: Oops, I should've pointed out that I'm on PS4. But I think the controllers are pretty much the same, right?

    I have items set to a D pad button so I can use R2 for gens, healing etc so I don't ever accidentally throw down pallets
