2v8: My killer analysis from survivor view

So I have been playing 2v8 as survivor a lot the last few days - and survivor only because a) gotta take that +400% BP and b) 15 minute queues suck.

My honest thoughts about the killers and the choice of having them in this game mode:

Trapper: Does MUCH better than in normal games because more chaos - more people running around, more killers to keep track of, more events, so his traps go unnoticed more often and he has a better chance to accidentally run into someone. Good for the game mode, game mode good for him.

Huntress: Works. She still has to aim and hit, and her slow movement speed is not as bad because she has more hatchets and the map is fuller. If you lose one target, another is usually right around the corner. The usual stuff where she "melee" throws a hatchet and then M1 hits right after is still there. She's fine.

Nurse: Her inclusion surprised me, to be honest. Turns out, having more targets and a fuller map does not equal easier blinks. Still very strong if you can play her well, but lacks actual map pressure which is mitigated by having a teammate. Fine.

Hillbilly: He has insane mobility and has no problem going to the cage where he just sent a survivor to hunt them and their rescuer right again. Very good map pressure, not easy to keep track of. VERY strong in this game mode.

Wraith: Now HE is why I am talking about this in the first place.

This game mode is very stuffed, let's face it: Sound effects left and right, gens popping off, survivors screaming all the time, auras everywhere, a lullaby, chainsaw sounds, and a nurse screeching. And you are trying to keep track how far the killer is still from you. And then, out of nowhere, you hear the bell right next to you!

Counterplay to wraith is usually: Look out for rugged breathing and wobbling background, run away before he comes near you and hope he believes breaking chase is a better use of his time. If you miss him getting close to you, you give a free hit, he recloaks, catches up and uncloaks again for another nearly inevitable hit. With all this tohuwabohu going on in the background, it is hard if not impossible to adequately be aware of him. Together with the maps being very open, which means that you can't really break line of sight to lose him in a chase, being found by the wraith equals a down in a few seconds.

Now there are other killers that are not very well-suited for this game mode. Doctor would make people scream all the time no matter where he is, Ghost Face could never stalk without being discovered, you would never have enough time to remove Pig's reverse bear traps, and so on.

The same goes for all killers with global effects: Cenobite's box timer, Dredge's darkness, and so on.

Plague could work as cleansing is relatively fast.

Freddy could work as being deep asleep does not have THAT much of an effect.

Deathslinger is definitely viable, but fills a similar niche as Huntress.

Clown and Trickster would also work.

Spirit is problematic because when her spirit walk-whoosh is heard, everyone would stop working on gens all the time and run around like a swarm of fruit flies when you grab for an apple.

So what I am saying:

Classic play-catch killers work in this game mode.

Ranged killers work in this game mode as they are usually dependent on ammo or long reloads.

Stealth killers are either unplayable (if they rely on people not noticing them) or overpowered (if they have actual cloaking).

High mobility killers are VERY strong and potentially game breaking if they can send a survivor to his cage and arrive there shortly afterwards.

Killers with global effects scale too well in this game mode and would also give the other killer even more of an advantage.
