Best resources for new players to learn?

l’m a new player, started about two or three weeks before 2v8 started. I’ve been trying to watch videos on YouTube about getting better, especially at survivor. The impossible killer queue lately has me in kinda a funk with survivor where I’m just getting tired of it, so I figured I’d try watching solo queue survivor matches and try to improve like that. Any suggestions on content creators to watch to learn? I already watch tuts, I just wanna see how good players play and learn like that.

    DbD is sadly really not very beginner friendly these days.

    There are tons of content creators on YT and a lot of them are pretty good.

    You can check Otzdarva - the biggest one with massive tutorials.

    Also Truetalent - the second - like always on - thousands of videos.

    There you can learn general things from the game. But you have to practise yourself a good amount of time because this game is simple overall but hard to really get good at it.

    For me this is the game i have the most hours of all games i ever played…

    Otzdarva has good videos to learn the basics like tiles, perks, builds, etc; very well rounded resource to learn a bit of everything

    personally, I watch noci, ayrun, puffalope, hens, skermz, etc. Some of these are just fun to watch and some are good players. Overall, you're just trying to understand their thinking and decision making but not mimic their play style (noci is good and has good YouTube guides on very specific aspects of the game)

    take chases and learn from them, they're not the only part of the game but being good in a chase will positively ripple to the macro of the game. Do learn the macro and micro components of the game, learn from your teammates, learn from your mistakes, etc

    you'll die, lose games, etc but playing will be your best learning tool
