Would a Legacy Prestige Modifier be useful ?

hi,
I think we all know the complete full story of this disaster.
Dev bashing? Absolutely not!
Every game developer makes mistakes, and unpredictable things can happen in any game that are out of anyone's control, but that's normal and I'm not here to criticize anyone.
The developers have proven that DBD offers more possibilities with the modifier mode than we could ever imagine
I am in favor of a legacy prestige modifier. A modifier that runs for a longer period of time than the standard.
A modifier that is specifically designed for this purpose. Just the Trapper, The Wraith, The Nurse, Hillbilly and of course Dwight, Jake, Meg, Claudette and Nea, as was the case in 2016.
I think the developers are capable of introducing old maps or the old blood net and points system. Even if not, I could well imagine that a kind of throwback event would be in the interest of many. Why not? Many players lost their outfits back then due to this nasty bug.
We have grown a lot in the meantime and I think that a grind from 0-100 of a character is currently worth more than bringing a character from 0 to 6 back then. After all, we are a lot of new players. Everyone deserves a chance and I think it would be in everyone's interest. Not only for those who have lost their outfits but also for those who are new.
I think all this exclusive stuff is generally bad and would prefer to do away with it. At the moment, for example, many Dwight shirts that you could only get in the store back then are being offered for a lot of money on various other platforms. That shouldn't be the case and I hope that the developers will take another look at it.
what do yo think about it ? Lets discuss

Loss of progress is a huge issue but yeah I don't believe there's any reason to gatekeep cosmetics to a certain platform and player base. I think the solution would be to just gift all legacy clothing to players whom P100 the classic characters. Aka Dwight-Nea earns all legacy at once and same with Trapper-Nurse. Nobody currently considers the cosmetics a feat of skill or proof of commitment. They have almost universally been assumed to be hacked in leading to lobby dodges and distrust. Obviously at the time nobody could've predicted the current state of DbD, let alone 8 years of success, but making earnable cosmetics should be an option.

Yes, it should be an option, hence my contribution

I think it's been said an awful lot at this stage, but there is no plan to re-introduce Legacy Prestige. That will remain to those that earned the cosmetic and stuck with the game in the early days.
The loss of progress issue was terribly unfortunate and even moreso that we were (and are) unable to gift back any lost Legacy items. The issue of the lost progress has been resolved and no longer occurs due to the way systems have changed over the years. But yes, we've acknowledged how much of a disappointment that it is that we cannot gift those items back. Bloodpoint compensation was the only compensation that we could offer.
If Prestige Rewards do happen in the future, they will not be Legacy - there would be other plans for those rewards.

Yes, thank you very much for your reply and your honesty. I really appreciate it very much ❤️

Legacy would lose all meaning if anyone could get it these days. It's ok not to have something that someone else has.
