Please note: Although we may stop by occasionally, this is not a developer Q&A.
We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

DBD keeps crashing my System/OS

Long story short: whenever i try to play the game, it crashes my entire PC to the point where it auto reboots. I get no error message nor a blue screen, just a straight up blackscreen, followed by a system reboot after a few seconds. I've checked my entire hardware at this point, and verified that every single driver, as well as Windows 10 works and has all it's files. I've also tried reinstalling the game multiple times, but nothing works. No other game does that, except dbd. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The crashes are random by the way. Sometimes occuring in the lobby after just a few minutes and somtimes letting me play for 1-2 hours before it happens. I also checked my temperatures, which are all fine as well. My power supply is also delivering enough and a stable power signal. I've also tried to play on another much older PC, where the game runs perfectly fine.

Core specs are:

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

RTX 4070 12GB

32GB DDR4-3600

be quiet! Pure Power 12M 650W

Problem has been fixed by myself. My Chipset driver was either damaged or installed incorrectly. i've reinstalled it manually and now everything is working perfectly fine.
