Future 2v8 questions
- Will we be able to vote which killers will be added if there is a second iteration?
- I assume its also going to be just 5 (+ the previous ones so 10 total). Is it going to be more or less than 5?
- I assume licensed Killers wont be available ever?
- Any chance that there will be double killers available in the future? This could combat que times at least a little bit.
- Will the mode become permanent ever or is it going to be a returning thing like the masquerade, halloween, christmas, summer events?
- Plans to introduce bots filling up lobbys after a certain period of time, to also combat que times?
If only some or none of these can be answered right now, (because its early) you can just view this as suggestion for future 2v8 versions of this mode.

- No word on this but I really hope so!
- This seems likely for balance reasons, they will probably also adjust older added Killers.
- This is a complex question. We don't know yet for sure, but it's very possible that some licensed Killers may already have AI written for them in case of disconnects, judging by how quickly bots for Huntress, Nurse, Wraith, and Billy were introduced after we previously ONLY knew about Trapper having a bot. In fact, pretty much any trapping Killer could reuse the code for Trapper, any stealth Killer the code for Wraith, any ranged the code for Huntress, etc. We also know that bot AI for Survivors at least appears to be trained on real data from real rounds, so it's likely Killer bot AI is the same. Though some Killers seem to have unique issues that require work from the ground up, so they may take longer… but if there is AI in the works for licensed Killers, this would indicate that these Killers would definitely be added to 2v8, so never say never! Besides, people would riot if we couldn't have Ghostface and Myers in 2v8, they're some of the most requested licensed adds.
- Doubtful, and no I do not think it would combat queue times at all. Plus do you really want to be hit by double buffed Plagues, Legions, Wraiths, or Huntresses? I don't…
- It's likely this mode will, unfortunately, become permanent because it's well loved, RIP queue times. But if it continues to have issues, then BHVR may consider making it a returning feature instead, which I personally believe would be much healthier for the game.
- They tested this, people hated it, so probably not.

Bots for huntress, wraith, nurse and billy? what? when? where? how? XD they are also in customs???
Oh i think it would lighten que times a little as less players have to combat each other for killer spots. most people want to play huntress and nurse, less people want to play wraith and even less want to play billy who cannot even insta down anymore in 2v8. which is the whole reason why you would play billy in the first place. So if all the people have to be spread evenly amongst 5 characters not allowing doubles, i think its logical conclusion it would shorten que times. it would not solve the horrible que times, but it would still shorten them a bit.
If the mode becomes permanent though, i hope they do alot more work with it. Sure it will become more interesting once majority of killers are added and you can test all kinds of combos, the classes for survivors however are a bit… bland? idk after youve played like 10 rounds of survivor you have alredy seen it all. Also i dont see why anybody would take anything else than the chaser class btw. Support and gen jockey are good aswell. But by far chaser rules just because of the sprint burst that comes back quite reliably. And scout is litteraly useless, for new players it might be good info but even they then would need to know how to utilize this info..
I dont understand the hate against bots at all, they often work better than majority of soloQ survivors, they dont cry in the endgame chat and they always (or almost always) go for safes. It would drop que times massively if bots could fill up lobbys, im not saying 7 out of 8 spots per lobby. But maybe 2. unless full SWF groups are in play, then obviously the bots are not needed.0
