Trap Struggle Suggestion

Survivors are guaranteed to escape from Traps on their sixth attempt, but this isn't obvious and creates an often frustrating experience. I'd rather have a progress bar that I know I'm unlikely to escape before the Killer arrives, than to just keep trying to same action over and over and hoping it finally works.

Perhaps an alternative could be that the interaction is instead like a generator, but with a skill check after every 1.8 seconds, and each skill check has the current 16.67% chance to escape.

I don't mean to suggest any real rebalancing, just a change in presentation so it feels more like you're doing something.
