Anonymous Mode + Plus cheaters

So i played against couple players who was cheating and i couldn't see there profile or anything so i wanted to know if someone keeps changing there name while Anonymous Mode is on does it mess with the report ? While i was playing against the hacker there is a glitch while unhooking they can teleport when holding the survivor. its basically the glitches that the hacker has been using for the past 3-4 years so idk how you guys haven't patch those thing. don't need a better anti cheat just need fix certain bugs that they use

They can change their name but can't change the steam id that goes on the report, report away.

The Devs can still see the match and who the players were, pulling it up based on your ID. They then can find the match and go from there.

Anonymous Mode doesn't protect cheaters. However, you need to have video proof and send an email. If you suspect cheating you should have recording software ready, clipping software, something. Even consoles these days can clip. You can also still report the cheat through ingame I believe.

All you need to do is the in-game reporting, that flags that trial and all players in it. They then can review the report and the video proof for it and act if appropriate.

Anonymous Mode doesn't prevent this. So if they're on Steam for instance, you don't need to see their Steam ID to report them.

Everyone above is correct! Anonymous mode in game does not override our ability to see player and match information when it is reported via the end game screen. You game rules also has information on how you can send additional evidence to Support without having their name, provided you filed the in game report first. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

I've caught a decent amount of cheaters, but you need to make a BHVR account to report them, which is just too much hassle. You should still report them in-game though, because if someone else decides to send a report to BHVR with video evidence, the account will then have a history of cheating reports, which will help in getting them banned.

I recently turned on recording of the last 5 minutes of gameplay, it's very interesting to be able to watch stuff back. Would recommend everyone that are playing on PC to activate Shadowplay or ReLive and do the same. Makes it a lot easier to spot cheaters.
