PC - Large amount of Disk usage on startup and during gameplay

Dead by Daylight has an intense amount of Disk Usage on startup and will persist during public matches. This causes a large amount of stuttering. This effect persists for upwards of 5 minutes before dropping back down to 0%.
This effect was present during the 8.2.0 PTB.
