Exultation not awarding upgraded items

Title sums up the bug.
Before the match began, I confirmed I had 1 Iridescent map and 7 green maps in reserve.
I entered the trial and attempted to use Exultation with a green map, successfully stunned the killer and verified the map was now an Iridescent Map. I escaped the Trial with my map still in hand, then checked my reserve items. I still only had 1 iridescent map and 7 green maps.
Tl:dr, Exultation is not allowing you to keep upgraded items post-trial.

this is not a bug, they said in the patch that they will add the feature to keep the item in a later patch as they didn't have time to add it to the update when dracula dropped

Correct, this is not a bug! It is coming in a future patch.
