Devs, when are we getting the anti facecamp bar meter in the general HUD, so all survivors can see?
This change needs to be in the game for solo Q, it's so so ######### painful to not have info in solo Q.
It would be one step closer to making solo Q bearable.

Not liking the language, but the suggestion.
Pretty sure I would have been able to unhook myself a couple of times already, had other survivors stayed away instead of slowing the progress of the meter with their proximity.

Sorry for the slug, it's to express the emotional and sentimental pain that playing solo Q is.
Even more the fact that there isn't a basekit version of Kindred (without Killer aura), to have info on the map on what to do.

It's been requested so many times. I'm surprised they don't do it. The survivor HUD changes was added to bridge some of the gap between SWF and solo, this change seems like an absolute no brainer. Also, reassurance should be visible on the HUD too.

That and make healing visible too, there is legit NO reason for it when survivors can comm this information.

Yes, this feature has been in the game for months and it seems players still don't get how it works.

If you did that then it would tell you when the Killer is near or not, removing the need for players to actually orient themselves.

I mean, SWF can just call that kind of thing out, so they get that information anyway.

To be fair, the point of this mechanic would be to reduce the gap between SWF and SoloQ ever so slightly.
SWF can already call out the meter progress (and as such if the Killer is around) so it would merely level the playing field a bit without making SWF stronger.
Even then, SWF can call out the Killer's exact location while SoloQ would merely have "he's camping" as info if the meter was shown. It would narrow the gap but it would still require awareness that SWF doesn't need.
Honestly, the game lacks a lot of perk & position information for SoloQ, so many perks and teammate position that SWF already has could be easily implemented for SoloQ.

Yes. but that's the thing. SWF can already call that out. "He's proxying, do gens". Takes them 2 seconds. "Oh, he's leaving now". And those two lines prevent camping from being a viable strategy against SWF. But solos don't know the killer is camping, and they don't know who is going for the save, which is why camping is so good against many solo teams.
I think it would be a fair change. Remember that before the survivor hud improvements, you couldn't tell if someone was being chased, only the obsession? That's another thing that's very easy to call out for SWF, but solos didn't have any info on.
