New game mode idea: Zombie Outbreak
Imagine a game mode where you have a lot, A LOT of Nemesis Zombies walking around to get you in the game.
I love how those zombies work in game. And imagine if there were 20/30/50 of them in a game trying to get you and your team. This will be a goofy way of surviving.
Zombies have randomly speed walking like the addon they get when a generator finishes. But imagine that being totally random out of the blue, and a little more faster, like they can outrun you.
No vaccines in game. Means no infection. Just hit to injure to dying state.
Should there be a killer in game to pick up to hook or no killer player with no hooks?
Also, should there be perks?
No hooks, no playable killer: Bot Zombies
That means dying state until you are dead.
The dying state should or should not be lesser in this mode. For example, survivors use their dying state to recover themself 100%. Wich means they die faster. So max 3 times to recover yourself. Until you have no dying state bar left.
When you recover yourself you have a endurance for 10 seconds like soul guard. But you can take up to 3 hits in a row. But your vision will be less and less for each hit. The third hit will be like lights out/dredges nightfall vision
This game mode survivors heal eachother a little faster. And unlock a selfcare like strength in shadows, but does not need to be in the basement to selfcare. Gives no aura reading.
With hooks, and playable killer, with bot zombies
The zombie Necromancer.
Power: the killer can spawn a zombie up from the ground, anywhere.
(Imagine Nurse's helping addon to see where she blinks. But having that how the power work by resurrecting zombies) You can spawn Zombies from afar or close by. Even spawn Zombies behind walls.
The killer cannot hit survivors to injure them. Only spawn zombies that can hit the survivor to injured to dying state.
The killer can bodyblock.
In General: zombie game mode
With this Zombie game mode, pallets will rise back up with seconds of recovery process. Survivors can make this faster by interacring and pick up the pallet, to make the recovery faster.
(Like singularity's chest. The timer goes up. When a survivor interact, the process will be faster.)
When the killer break the pallet, survivors can fix the pallet from the fragmented pieces, to start the recover process of the pallet. (Can use the wipe animation for Hag's traps for this)
It will spawn slightly more pallets than usual in game.
Generators: Gens will be just as fast to do like we had in the 2v8. Since there are A LOT of Zombies.
Completing a gen: zombies stop. For a random of 2/3/4/5 seconds. After some randomly zombies get a speedboost to double their speed for 3 to 5 seconds rush.
Exit gates: normal opening gate timer. But if you let go of the gate, it regress. (It only regress when no playable killer)
-Random Zombies spawn in the gate. Up to 7 zombies addition of maximum zombies in game.
Endgame timer: When the endgame collapse starts.
Example one: Double of maximum zombies will spawn around the map.
Example two: you're exposed during endgame collapse. Zombies one hit you to dying state.
Example three: Some Zombies explode within a 5 meter radius, will give hindred status effect being inside 5m radius of the exploded zombies.
With playable killer example: When the last gen pop. Zombies give aura reading ability within 15m radius from a Zombie.
Alternative version of, no hooks, no playable killer:
-When a survivor die, the dead survivor spawns as a zombie.
Extra thought: A maze map that closes and open walls when gens pop. Some closed or tight areas would be open, and open areas would be tighter or off limit.
Zombies could look like a blighted zombie like Blight. Or Zombie version of original survivors. Or something more entity sinister.
This game mode could have a rift to unlock a zombie cosmetic version for all original characters. Could be linked or not.
