Nurse’s bugs 1 year anniversary soon (fov and fatigue being bugged)

Several animation issues have arisen with the Nurse character after patch 7.4.0:

  1. Left Hand Animation: The left hand’s animation is bugged, not playing properly when holding a blink for more than 2 seconds. It cuts off at the end, making the movement appear clunky.
  2. Positioning of Left Hand: The left hand is positioned much closer to the camera than before patch 7.4.0. It also appears to be fixed in place, not moving up when looking at the sky or down when looking at the ground.
  3. Right Hand Animation: The right hand, which holds the weapon, is also too close to the camera. The weapon animation itself is not properly displayed when looking at the ground or sky.
  4. Hitting Animation: The hitting animation is bugged, with the weapon sticking to the survivor’s hitbox instead of playing consistently. The animation appears to play too quickly, making the weapon barely visible when hitting a survivor.
  5. Blink-Swing Animation: After a blink-swing, the left hand should move up, as it did prior to patch 7.4.0. However, this no longer happens.
  6. Fatigue Animation: The fatigue animation is longer than it should be, and after fatigue ends, the left hand doesn’t appear for a few milliseconds if a blink is charged. Additionally, the weapon only becomes visible when the player's view returns to the upward position. The weapon should be visible immediately after the fatigue animation ends.
  7. POV Interference: Some survivor models interfere with the Nurse's point of view (POV), causing the survivor model to appear too close to the camera when carrying a downed survivor.
  8. Her bugs give motion sickness to some people, these bugs have been around ever since Chucky game out, this isn’t NORMAL !

Community Impact: The current state of the Nurse is particularly challenging for players who suffer from motion sickness. The issues described have made playing her increasingly difficult and uncomfortable. Despite various promises to address these bugs, they remain unresolved. This ongoing situation has led to significant frustration among the dedicated Nurse community. Players are struggling to enjoy a character they once loved, and the lack of resolution is deeply disheartening.

To the developers and community managers, it is crucial to prioritize addressing these critical bugs. The reduction in FOV and the altered fatigue mechanics are more than minor inconveniences; they represent significant issues that affect the playability and enjoyment of the Nurse. Immediate action is needed to correct these bugs to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. The Nurse is an integral part of the game for many, and these issues are undermining the character's effectiveness and the overall player experience.

Important Note: The impact on players with motion sickness is particularly severe. Some players experience significant discomfort that affects their ability to engage with the game. This matter is urgent and requires prompt action to prevent further negative experiences.
