Does EAC immediately ban for macros that don't even work in-game?
I had a macro for my mouse (pressing PgDown once, for a very short time - I recorded it) so that I could browse the internet easier. Didn't know I could just bind the key. Anyway, I just found out that they are bannable and got scared. PgDown doesn't do anything in-game and I think I used that macro by mistake (the side button of my mouse) while in-game. It obviously didn't do anything. The macro doesn't need any third-party software to be running in the background.
I lastly used it like 1 month and a half ago I guess, then I deleted it. My question is if EAC bans players for macros immediately. Can they be banned in ban waves for macros ??? I am really scared and can't stop thinking about it.. Can I still be banned even after a long time??? D;

Extremely doubtful. I don't think EAC actually detects/bans for macro usage either way. People used macros for flashlight clicking back in the day and I haven't personally heard of any bans resulting from that.
Anyway, literally the only thing the game saw from a technical perspective was you pressing PgDown. I wouldn't worry about it whatsoever.

And if EAC had detected it as a threat, I would have been banned by that day, right ? Not after 2 months let's say.
