Perk/Character 'trial runs' for archives

With the inclusion of more licensed tomes in the Archives, 100% completing them has been harder and harder for the average player (excluding the one with Bill for obvious reasons). With non-licensed tomes, you could get the characters with shards, but tomes such as Alan Wake, SAW, and the upcoming Castlevania one force you to either spend money to buy the characters or never 100% complete the tome. On top of that, many character specific perks (Champion of Light, Make Your Choice, etc.) force you to either rely on shrine, buy the character, or never complete their respective challenges. I don't know how plausible this suggestion is given the nature of licensed characters, but I figured I'd suggest it anyway.

I suggest that when selecting a challenge that requires a perk/character you don't own, you will be given that perk/character in a 'trial' run. To make it less exploitable, the perk can be always yellow and the character can only have 3 perk slots (and/or no add-ons for killers). This obviously benefits the player, as they can not only try out certain killers or perks ahead of time, but also complete challenges they otherwise wouldn't. I also think maybe this could help BHVR make moolah because people will try out killers or perks and then maybe wanna buy them, kinda like how they used to have the splinters (I miss them…)

Please don't be scared to call me names or bully me for this idea if you think it's bad, but it'd be better to give some feedback or reasoning. You know, fostering discussion and allat. Thank you!!! :3
