"Failed to create party" & "Connection with the host could not be established" Errors

I am able to load into DBD's lobby perfectly fine, but when I get into the lobby and select survivor, the game will load for a short period of time and then prompts me with a "failed to create party error". Then when I try and play killer, I get a message that says "connection with the host could not be made…". I have been looking everywhere for an answer and cannot seem to find any solutions or explanations. I play on PC Gamepass. Thank you to anyone taking the time to read this and appreciate all help!
