Skull Merchant changes are… fine?

As the title says they aren’t as bad as PTB

Like don’t get me wrong it’s an overall power nerf, but in terms of nerf it’s fine, it encourages the rotation play style, and although I find the hinder from radar, and the haste from scans wired but I guess it’s something.

I would prefer the hinder from checking radar gone, and the haste gone but honestly… these changes are alright

The big problem is that SM now gets haste from dropping drones too, which encourages the playstyle of just dropping them mindlessly on loops to get the haste.

This highly depends if laser tagging is going to be possible, or not.

If she can laser tag to get the haste with good timing, then she is going to be way worse, but not completely useless.
If laser won't start in front of her (I think that was the case on PTB, not sure), then changes do absolutely nothing and still Z tier.

Fact that laser won't work on fast vault seems also questionable to me. If you predrop a pallet, there is kinda nothing for her to do other than destroying it.

Yeah, People are complaining that SM is stronger than ever but that is just plain lies.

Without getting people heated this is still a straight up nerf, but its more on the "Spirit nerfs" than what freddy go, C tier killer

I think she still seems quite weak but the changes to live are much appreciated so she wont be absolute agony to play as if you needed to for a challenge or something.

Not really interested in playing her much until her rework though. People will probably still hate her causing DCs.

Honestly, the only way that people won't just go next when against her are either her being so weak that she's no threat or being completely reworked from the ground up. Her PTB changes would have been super overkill but would have likely vastly reduced the amount of people giving up against her XD

Pressing one button and denying a massive zone, and being able to do so 6 times, and being able to move those traps from across the map in an instant, will never be fun to go against (and arguably pretty boring to play as).

As someone who despised her live form, I'm happy with the PTB changes, it sounds like her power will be more interesting to interact with avoiding the scans mid chase will be fun, as opposed to no interaction coz lil timmy across the map triggered a drone while I was being chased.

The nerfs are way worse than Spirit got in my opinion.

    • 1 laser
    • drone always active
    • worse haste
    • worse hindered
    • drones won't detect fast vault
    • slowed while using drones/radar

She completely lost any pressure outside of chase, because survivor needs to be blind to get a claw trap and her chase is worse too.

as I have said before, the outcome highly depends if laser tagging is possible or not. If you can't use laser tagging (I think it wasn't possible on PTB), then she is stil terrible.

I wanted to get rid of spamming rotation changes, but they made it mandatory instead.
