Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Eyes of Belmont Doesn't Seem to Prolong Alert's aura reading

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: It seems like Eyes of Belmont doesn't prolong Alert's aura reading effect, but Belmont prolongs it's own effect when generator is done (by 2 seconds, as supposed to).

PLATFORM: PC (Steam)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: There's not much anything else to say about this.

VIDEO:

Here you can see and compare times with using Alert only and using both perks. If anyone can tell is the problem with Alert or Eyes of Belomont itself, please tell.

Alert Only

Both perks

I put both videos through video editor and checked timings frame by frame to see that Belmont doesn't prolog Alert's aura reading effect.

Also, I did some test with Troubleshooter+Eyes of Belmont and it seems that Belmont extends Troubleshooter's aura from 6 seconds to 8 seconds. So bug is most likely in Alert.

    Also ran into this bug:

Pretty sure you're right that only Alert seems to be affected. Eyes of Belmont is extending the duration of its own aura reading effect as intended

    Press Win+R

    • Type in appdata
    • Press OK
    • In opened window navigate to: \Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
    • Usually you would need to attach the DeadByDaylight.log file. (Just the one)

Eyes of Belmont and Alert are also bugged on PS4/PS5.
