How to create a new DBD Account on Switch

Basically, I regret linking my Switch account to my Steam account.
I've never been able to get an answer on whether or not both platforms share the same MMR score, but based on my experience, I think they do and I just can't compete at the same level on Switch as I do on PC. Essentially, I've made the game unplayable for myself. Having all my Steam content on Switch doesn't matter if I can't enjoy the game on the platform anymore. I understand that it's impossible to unlink my cross progression.
So I was wondering, is it possible for me to create a completely fresh and unlinked Nintendo Switch DBD account? I feel like it might be impossible but if there is a way, any help or advice would be appreciated.
