I think there's an event happening, I'm not sure?
With the exception of one game as killer so far, gens have been popping like CRAZY
To me, it feels like spending even a little time doing anything event related as killer results in too much time-waste and by the time you get back, another gen pops
Also, glad to see map offerings are in full force
Skill issue? Probably, but jesus the sweat is already out

The new void realm looks incredible, I love the structure they added, both the survivor and killer powers are genuinely useful and well-thought out, and I'm really enjoying that pumpkins regenerate and that they're more accessible to survivors as a result (as well as more free bloodpoints for everyone)…
…but in my matches, I'm finding that as a rule, I can only go enjoy the event stuff if the other side is also doing it. The requirement to unlock that special power is really disruptive and allows too much momentum to shift in your absence, especially as killer but also as survivor, so it takes too much time to go into the void realm and navigate to the center to recover from unless the other team is also playing around with it.
Still, really fun stuff. Just not exactly practical.

Survivors are bringing BNPs and not interacting with the event.
Killers are proxy camping in-void and then using the power to 2-tap the survivor so they can tunnel through endurance, interacting with the event in the smallest sense of the word.
Oh well, let's optimise the fun out of everything

This is just what people do. It's a pointless thing to bemoan. All you can do is play the way you'd like to be played against.

cause there's literally no reason to do the event as survivor. Not worth it at all.

The reason to interact with the event is because it's an event which is meant to be played for fun. Who cares if it's more of a timesink, who cares if you don't escape, have a little giggle while you're playing the video game or go back to the normal queue. That's why it's been split into 2 queues, after all.
