Killer ping not shown correctly or ping indicator is broken

As you can see in this video the ping indicator for the killer shows a red ping, so the ping in the ESC menu should be above 200 ms. The killer ping in the ESC menu never got above 144ms.
So the shown killer ping is wrong or the ping indicator is broken.
