The One Thing Trapper Needs The Most

I think a lot about Trapper. He was my first main, and most people agree he's in the running for worst killer, if not taking that spot himself (especially now that Skull Merchant was executed). There are lots of things that could benefit Trapper, and about as many things he really shouldn't get, but I keep coming back to one specific thing I think would really help him: Trap spawn adjustments.

A little while ago, Trapper got an update to his traps that caused them to start spawning near generators, rather than in random corners and along map borders like they used to. This was a good change, and it did help - but I think we can go further. One of Trapper's biggest problems is his early game setup, and the placement of those traps can definitely be improved to give him better access to his power without having unhealthy side effects like simply letting him spawn with them all would.

So, here's what I propose: Traps spawn already placed at pallets and windows, close to generators. They'd still be unarmed, but they'd be placed such that when they are armed, they're able to catch survivors who try to use that resource. These don't need to be the most optimal possible trap spots, they just need to be usable- that way, a Trapper player can quickly glance at where the trap spawned, and make a snap decision about whether to pick it up or go "yeah good enough" and arm it before moving on. The latter being feasible would seriously cut down on Trapper's setup, without making it too quick or causing any nasty side effects like buffing basement Trapper or encouraging proxy camping.

It'd also be a sideways buff to the Iridescent Stone, since any trap selected to open at the start of the match at least could be useful. A nice bonus, but not the main benefit.

This being implemented wouldn't fix Trapper overnight, he'd need more work over time, but it would catapult his viability up considerably in my opinion. It'd make him a much more consistent killer with a much less stressful early game.
