The Cannibal QoL changes

Ever since his rework The Cannibal became one of my favorite Killers to play and to play against! I think his base-kit power is almost perfect, all he needs are a few QoL changes and he would be an amazing Killer!

Power Icons

Currently, his power gauge is overlapping with his tantrum gauge, but thanks to the Dracula and the Unknown, I think it would be possible to quite easily fix this by just adding an icon for the Tantrum itself!

Accessibility

If you've ever played The Nurse, when you're about to go into Fatigue, a white smoke flashes on the edges of the screen, something like this would be amazing during Chainsaw Sweep when you're about to run out of duration, so you don't have to look down at your power gauge all the time!

Add-ons

I think some of his add-ons would benefit from reworks, those being:

  • The Grease (I think only one add-on that increases the time before entering Tantrum is enough)
  • Shop Lubricant (The effect is really weak and hard to trigger, it also promotes slugging which is not ideal)
  • Grisly Chain (Since Bubba can chew healthstates, I think an add-on that prevents Survivors from healing isn't really necessary)
  • Rusted Chain (same as Grisly Chain)

And I think that's enough for his base-kit! After all the changes he received recently, I think he's perfect!

I think his tantrum should be 4 seconds basekit, instead of the current 3, since it's much harder to bump into objects ever since they lowered his environmental collision.

Those would be 2 nice changes. For the Chainsaw Sweep, a pulse or a sound cue from Bubba would be perfect.

I'm not too sold on the changes to Grisly or Rusted chains though. Though Bubba does chew through health states, Bubba's add-on issues are that his acceleration is defined to be 60% of his chainsaw sweep duration. Now that his chilli's are basekit (2.5s instead of 2.0s), his acceleration speed is slower at base than it was before. This makes Scratch/Beast Mark's very desirable add-ons, not onlybgiving him a greater max speed, but also improving his acceleration on his first sweep too. Bubba's issue is it's VERY hard to turn down this add-on for something else.

However in theory, the alternative approach to address this problem is to instead going all in on his chainsaw, to instead mind game for an m1 instead without having the acceleration issue, something keeping players injured facilitates. These add-ons also allow Bubba to consider use of M1 based perks like Surge, STBFL, and of course his own perks Franklin's Demise and Knockout, and I feel having the option to make m1 builds appealing is a good thing.

I wouldn't want my screen to go dark when chainsaw sweet is about to run out, that just seems distracting. You can learn the timing not only by counting the grunts, but also by watching him sweep the chainsaw left or right, or even watching the duration on the power icon.

If they wanted him to be even more accessible, they could just remove the whole chainsaw timing altogether and just give him a set +2.5s extra duration to his sweep every time he uses a charge to the remaing duration, same as if you did a perfect charge use every time basically. But I for one quite like the little minigame of timing his charge usage in chase to get the most distance.

The separate icon for tantrum is a good idea though, makes sense.
