Haunted event: immunity exiting portals

Suggestion for the Haunted by Daylight event: Survivors should absolutely have a moment of complete invulnerability after they exit a portal.

Why? You tend to have little to no idea where it exits to on the map, you have no clue what's on the other side. The amount of times I've seen killers just waiting on the portals because they know they get a free hit is absurd… Or worse, the clips I've seen of Tombstone Myers waiting to get a free, completely out-of-the-blue and non-defendable kill.
(And before somebody says, "it'll be exploitable! They can hop right back into the portal!" No, you can't, there's a delay before the prompt even shows up again, as well as the entering animation itself.)

Please, BHVR… this event is already, and I'm sorry to say this but, very buggy when it comes to the Survivor side of things. I've played through years and years of events, but this one…
…the fact that Killers can just hop into a portal near a hook to essentially Insid camp without any anti-camp progress triggering (or Insid itself)…
…the fact that there's no warning for a Haunt launching (a more minor nuisance, but all the same)…
…the fact that smoke bombs are so bugged that they'll blind Survivors, but Killers are sometimes COMPLETELY unaffected and can see through it (and the Survivors aren't even invisible as they should be.)

As an example of this mechanic, Elder Scrolls Online has a built-in defense whenever you go through a door in a PvP zone: players are invulnerable for several moments after passing through, to allow for them to get their bearings and make some distance. (Especially helpful for those with ping issues!)

So I know it won't happen this time around, but can we at least get a little cushion for the portal exit during next years' Haunted event?
