Lagging players are becoming an epidemic
I love getting hit 10 km away from the window, getting hit through a wall by an invisible hatchet and not being able to loop properly because the killer is using VPN and they get free hits.
Honestly, why players with 150+ ms of pin can play this game? It ruins the experience for everyone else, I don't know whay VPNing isn't banable, especially because looks like many people agreed on using tools to have high pin because, omg, I've been in a lot of matches like that.
Totally a fun experience to play like that…

BHVR needs to add more server locations

Yeah, for real. I am in Canada and the closest servers I can connect to are in Virginia, which gives me a 60-80 ping depending on how the game is feeling that day.
For some reason the game also seems VERY loose with what servers it puts you on, since I quite often get put on the South American servers and it people from South America are put on the NA servers and it makes the game awful to play.0 -
This is part of the problem, as players in Asia and South America are very far from any DBD servers. And as mentioned above there seems to be lots of placing people in various different servers all the time anyways.

This. Sometimes I get matched with South Americans. I live in Kentucky. There is no absolutely no reason for it.

You can get a better connection if you use a vpn server close to the closest physical game server.
Example: If I'm in Arizona, I can get a better connection to the west coast DbD server by VPN'ing to San Francisco or Seattle. It does depend on the VPN you're using and the traffic on the route your connection is taking.

Canadian game has zero Canadian servers. Funny.
