Is maining Clown Toxic or is it just me?

I never thought that would be a sentence I'd ever say however, I main Clown and 8 out of 10 matches, I get the craziest chat logs because I play clown, is Clown like, just that miserable to go against that people hate and spit on because he's "the easiest killer to main" or is it just the way I play that makes them hate me? Because I'm only Prestige 2 Clown so there has to be a reason for the hate.

    I don't have in game chat because I'm a Switch player but I'd just close the chat and not bother with it. I main Clown and I know some people hate his power and think it makes him easy to play especially with add ons like Bottle of Chloroform and Flask of Bleach. Also some people have Colourophobia and are know to DC because of it but some Clown players would use the Mr. Puddles cosmetic or the head to make it so those people can play still. Just keep playing and try not to proxy camp or tunnel too much ( not saying you are but Clown players tend to play like that a lot )
