Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Why do people keep misinforming about Shoulder the Burden

Okay, unless I'm misunderstanding the perk entirely, it should in zero circumstance ever work alongside Deliverance. With that in mind, I'm asking why people keep saying this perk will be OP when mixed with Deliverance as the anti-tunneling would be so powerful. But because it puts you on first hook when you use it, you should never be able to use Deli with it, so I don't understand what people are talking about.

The only thing I can think of is if you have a teammate with Deli that gets hooks first, so you can unhook them with StB to give them deliverance back, but at that point both of you running Deli would be more beneficial 90% of the time.

Your second point is why people are saying this makes Deliverence better, and typically people are referring more to competitive settings where there's rules to limit how many people can run Deliverence in a team (which is 1 unless I'm mistaken). I wouldn't be surprised if they ban this perk in those competitive rulesets though.

If the Deliverence survivor gets hooked first, they still have a chance to use it since Shoulder The Burden allows someone else to rescue the Deliverence survivor and give them another chance to get it.

It's not really a relevant point in pub DBD unless you're playing with some friends and one of you has deliverence and you want to plan around it.

    Wait how would that work?

You transfer a hook state.... from you.... to you....?

So doesn't that just... cancel out?
