Invocation: Weaving Spiders not affecting all generators

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: A player completed the Invocation: Weaving Spiders in the basement, but not all generators got the 10 charges removed. (Perk was Tier III)

PLATFORM: Steam / Windows 11

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

  1. Meg Thomas (see images below) had the Invocation: Weaving Spiders perk equipped, went to the basement and successfully completed the invocation, as you can see by the permanent broken status effect.
  2. After the successful invocation, all generators should have 10 charges removed from them, as the perk was Tier III.
  3. When taking a look at an unfinished generator, these charges were not removed, as if the Invocation did not affect it. This also was not a visual bug as it actually took all 90 charges to finish it.

VIDEO:

I'm unable to provide a full video of the process, but I managed to capture screenshots where you can see that Meg has the Broken status effect, which is caused by the successful Invocation. I've also captured an image of all perks used by survivors and the killer of that round, so you can see that Broken couldn't have been caused by any other perks or add-ons.

If you want, I can submit the 30 second long clip I've recorded, but you will only see me wondering why the charges were not removed from the generator, and not the invocation process.

PLAYER LOGS:

  • Player logs are required from PC players only.

I'm unable to upload the logs as it always gives me a network error when I try to. If they are relevant I will upload them on an external site and post a link.

If you notice the Killer had Corrupt Intervention, meaning the generators were blocked - the perk cannot work through blocked generators, which is by design.

Thank you for explaining Mandy. Maybe this could be added to the Perk's description, since it states "Reduce the maximum required generator charges of →all remaining generators← by 8/9/10". It does not mention blocked generators anywhere in there.
