My Issue With 2v8

I think my biggest issue with 2v8 is how Killer specific interactions got removed in favor of class specific interactions, which just kind of kills part of the fun with 2v8.

Before it felt like, despite the limited Killer selection, it gave me a reason to experiment with different Killer combinations since their powers and effects would apply in unique ways that could lead to interesting or fun interactions with the other Killer player.

The current system just feels more boring and artificial. Like yes they do interact and buff your teammate, but at the same time, it's just a more boring way of handling it. Im not forced to branch out or experiment, Im not forced to try new things, I just slap on the Killer class and call it a day.

I think the best example of this is Wraith before and after this change.

Wraith (cloaked) before would grant your teammate Undetectable when you were close by, and it could change the way you would play loops.

With my friends, I would sit there cloaked and bodyblock pallets at a loop to force them to play the window or create a deadzone, while also benefitting my teammate by giving them Undetectable. It wasnt the most efficient way of playing, but it was fun and I loved it.

Now you cant even do that. The Shadow class grants Undetectable to the person using the class, and only swaps the Undetectable after hitting a Survivor, which not only removes this interaction entirely but outright makes this class not benefit Stealth Killers at all due to it's effect being really redundant.

Overall it just makes Killer in 2v8 feel more boring than before, even with there being more Killers, the special interactions being removed has kind of ruined it for me.
