The Shape Model Redesign
Hey BHVR team,
First off, I just want to say how much I love the ongoing updates to Dead by Daylight, especially the recent changes made to Michael Myers. He’s such a legendary killer in horror, and it’s awesome to see him getting some love in terms of gameplay balance.
That said, I can’t help but feel that Myers’ visual design is starting to look a bit dated compared to the other characters and the newer textures. His model, which is based on the 1978 film, seems a little off and takes away from his scary vibe—especially when you see him next to the more polished graphics in the game. The eerie presence that makes Michael Myers so frightening feels a bit lost. It’s like he’s stuck in a time warp while everything else has leveled up.
With the release of the 2018 Halloween movie, where we saw an older, more weathered version of Myers with a really realistic, worn mask, I think there’s a great chance to refresh his look. Updating him to match the 2018 version would keep that classic feel while making him even more intimidating for survivors and other killers. The new model doesn’t change who Myers is; it just enhances his character, capturing that relentless, grim essence that fits perfectly in the Dead by Daylight world.
I hope you take this as a genuine suggestion from a fan who really wants to see the game become even more immersive and chilling. A visual revamp for Myers would not only pay tribute to his legacy but also bring him up to the horror standards that Dead by Daylight is known for.
Thanks for all the hard work and for being open to community feedback!

Yep. He definitely needs it.
Not gonna happen though. Its been 8 years, if they didn't do it when they updated Laurie, then they're never going to.
