The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Scourges need some changes to be more engageable

My suggestions:

  1. Pain Resonance

current effect: 4 tokens, when survivor is hooked the first time on scourge hook, most progressed gen loses 20 %

new effect: no tokens, when survivor is unhooked from the scourge hook, most progressed gen loses 15 %

2. Hangman's trick

current effect: while carring survivor you see auras within 12m around scourge hooks

new effect: while carring survivor you see aura within 24m around scourge hooks, effect lingers for 4s after survivor is hooked

3. Monstrous shrine

current effect: survivor dies 20 % faster on scourge hook while 24m away, makes basement hooks scourge hooks

new effect: when survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, killer gains undetectable untill survivor is unhooked from the scourge hook, doesnt activate within 24m from the hooked survivor

4. floods of rage

current effect: 7 seconds aura reveal upon uhooking from the scourge hook

new effect: time of aura increased to 10s

Hangman’s trick should have a lingering effect it be like an alternative to bbq

Floods of rage aura increase is alright but floods of rage is pretty good rn

Monstrous shrine should keep its effect and get a buff instead from 20% —> 40% to make up the nerf it got when hooks got increased by 10 seconds. And that effect should go to another scourge hook

Pain res originally had no tokens at 15 % and it was pretty strong so I don’t think it needs a buff especially with the new scourge hook that was on the ptb that activates scourge hook effects when unhooked on normal hooks.

Pain res wouldnt really be a buff, just a quality of life changes and to shake it between meta a bit, so you have bit trickier time to pair it with other perks. It wouldnt be a limited to destroy early gen progress, but to help with less regression across game. In my opinion would be much healthier version.
