shrine suggestion

this is kind of a copy n paste from battle royale so…not really an original idea

TL;DR either remove all original/basekit-survivors perks from the shrine or slightly make them stronger/boost them if they are in a shrine slightly

now in detail, i hate seeing perks like botany knowledge, streetwise, lithe, iron will in the shrine when they are basically already given away for free and at most is just a noob trap or a really desprate way to get bp's from shards

but realistically they probably wont do it because…money,
why make it easier to get liecensed perks and thus hurt possible revenue?

which is why i have a back up idea, giving perks that are weekly in the shrine a boost in stats/numbers,
for example if botany knowledge is in the shrine, instead of 50% healing speed, it would be 75%
we'll make it 150%, streetwise from 25% to 35%, resilence from 9% to 10%, deja vu from 6% to 9%, sprint burst giving 5 to 6secounds of 150% speed, aura reads lasting longer or having more range

but then the problem would be to trust behavior or whatever machine to do those numbers, while there are perks that cant really be improved, without basically giving another effect, what do we do with for example iron will that is already has supresses 100% all grunts/noises while injured, most i can think of is double it and make it uncounterabe…but would that be fair or fun?…i have no clue

but ideally this would shake the game a bit every week with fun experimental side-perks to try out and that probably wont be meta much (or if it does just tone down the numbers)

Your changes to improve the shrine by buffing the numbers of the free perks would be catastrophic in terms of balance (especially the ones you suggested for botany and sprint burst).

What could make the shrine very appealing for players, would be doing the next steps…

First: increase the number available, +2 survivor perks and +2 killer perks

Second: remove the free/universal perks from the pool

Third: licensed perks such as Finesse (Lara croft) and Rapid brutality (Xenomorph) can only be bought with 250 auric cells = 2,50 $. Original perks such as Decisive strike (Laurie strode) and Bamboozle (Clown) can be bought with 2000 iridescent shards or 200 auric cells = 2 $

A whole character costs 500 auric cells = 5$ and you get +3 perks and a skin

A lot of players sometimes want only the perks from a character, so giving the options to instantly buy it (iridescent shards can only be earned by playing A LOT) would definitely give the devs a lot of extra money.

its only temporary (1 week) and numbers can be easily changed
at worst you can just give it the smallest number buff imaginable or even outright not buff it for balancing reasons

they wouldnt increase the perks avalible in the shrine to 4 to 8, because that would hurt their money revenue, a higher chance to get license perks for free instead of buying them from the character

they wouldnt remove the free/universal perks because again, money

3rd would probably just make the game p2w because sometimes new perks are released in a powerful state that they wouldnt change in months, what do you do if someone doesnt or cant pay for the perks?
i would forever rather have licensed perks possibly be free if the shrine is lucky, then be slightly more accessable

Decisive strike (Laurie strode) is not original, its from micheal myers and thus liecensed
the license perks needing money defeats the point and creates a really disgusting noob/uninformed trap
possibly paying for perks instead of just paying the character for cheaper
