2V8 mode is really gonna need more work

Like where do I begin?

First of all I would say is the exit gate, this crap with gate teabagging has got to stop both in this and general, it should have been done long ago but when the killer is at the gate to where the spikes come up it should also block survivors from leaving. I'm sick of downing a survivor only for them to be knocked out the exit gate or managed to crawl out while I am stuck in the weapon cleaning animation, how has this gone on so long and never been addressed? Before you say "The killer will just then exploit this and block the gate that isn't fair." oh boohoo there's 2 (or 3 for this) exit gates and a hatch for a reason, if you were foolish enough to stand at the exit gate and taunt the killer like a toxic putz instead of run like this game expects you to than you should suffer the consequences of it, time trolls started getting their guts sliced out for taking risks just to PO the killer. Yeah it may cause some issues down the road but these incidents of the whole group just staying at the gate then running as the killer gets blocked by the spikes that shouldn't be tolerated as it falls into trolling and unsportsmanlike if ask me, if the spike wall blocks the killer it blocks the survivors too and that can create new risks and strategy where survivors need to start running when the killer is near the gate or they get trapped, and killers can use this to cut off survivors buying time.

Second is the hatches, there should still only be 1, it's overboard to have 2 now why it makes sense for it to appear with the last 2 survivors there only needs to be 1 as it's supposed to be a last chance to escape, so annoying having to close multiple hatches to trigger the timer.

My top concern is the killer setup, why are killers locked at these kits instead of just being allowed to use the standard perk loadout? For survivors it's understandable given the changes in gameplay for this mode but killers outside of maybe hook based perks should be able to use their usual add-ons and various perks to generate more strategy and create more dangers and challenges for survivors that they could be up against a pretty OP duo.

Generator count is too high for this, like IDK the exact count given how big the maps are but the generators when down to just 1 there should only be 3 or 4 left like usual as given the increased number of survivors its very easy to distract and repair gens swiftly, this mode is too survivor biased at the moment and this like the hatches needs some reduction.

Some killers that desperately need to come to this mode include The Executioner, The Knight, Ghostface and The Cenobite.

    Always did, they brought it back way way way too soon. But I think you're complaining a bit too much here.
