Killer Name: The Ventriloquist
Realm: Ravenwood Theatre
Weapon: Puppet’s Blade – A razor-sharp knife disguised as a puppet's limb.
Power: Master of Puppets
The Ventriloquist uses her haunting puppets and sinister control over sound to isolate and manipulate survivors. Her power focuses on psychological pressure and exploiting mistakes to sow fear and disarray.
Primary Abilities
1. Haunted Puppets (Active Ability):
The Ventriloquist can place up to 3 Haunted Puppets on the map.
- Placement: Puppets can be placed at any location. Survivors within 12 meters hear faint whispers and see the puppet’s unsettling movements.
- Activation: The Ventriloquist can remotely activate any puppet. Activated puppets:
- Emit a loud scream that triggers a fake survivor aura within a 16-meter radius.
- Inflict the Hindered status (-10% movement speed) to nearby survivors for 5 seconds.
Destroying Puppets: Survivors can destroy a puppet with an 8-second interaction but scream upon completion, revealing their location. Destroying a puppet also applies 1 stack of Dread.
2. Dread (Passive Mechanic):
The Ventriloquist instills fear through her presence. Survivors gain Dread by:
- Failing skill checks (+1 stack).
- Destroying a puppet (+1 stack).
- Remaining in her Terror Radius for more than 15 seconds (+1 stack every 15 seconds).
Effects of Dread:
- 3 Stacks: Survivors experience more frequent and difficult skill checks.
- 5 Stacks: Survivors suffer from Oblivious and Exhausted.
- 7 Stacks: Survivors scream randomly, revealing their location.
Stacks of Dread decay by 1 every 20 seconds if the survivor avoids The Ventriloquist's influence.
3. Strings of Control (Special Ability):
The Ventriloquist can launch and attach a string to a survivor within 16 meters by charging her ability. When attached, she can pull the survivor back every 3 seconds while maintaining line of sight.
- Survivors must complete a series of skill checks to break free.
- If the survivor fails the skill checks, they are pulled toward The Ventriloquist by 4 meters and gain 1 stack of Dread.
4. Final Curtain (Kill Mechanic):
Survivors who reach 7 stacks of Dread for 60 seconds become Cursed. Cursed survivors are marked with a unique aura.
- If a Cursed survivor is downed, The Ventriloquist can perform the Final Curtain, instantly killing them.
Perks
- Puppet StringsWhenever a survivor unhooks another survivor, they are afflicted with the Exposed status for 12/14/16 seconds.
Survivors unhooked within your Terror Radius scream, revealing their location for 5 seconds. - Mocking EchoEach time a generator is completed, the nearest survivor to the completed generator becomes Oblivious for 20/25/30 seconds.
While Oblivious, the survivor hears random Terror Radius sounds within 32 meters. - Command PerformanceAfter hooking a survivor, all generators regress by 6/7/8% instantly.
Survivors repairing generators for the next 12 seconds will face skill checks twice as often.
Add-ons
Common Add-ons:
- Splintered Puppet: Increases the range of puppet whispers by 4 meters.
- Frayed Strings: Reduces the cooldown of Strings of Control by 1 second.
Uncommon Add-ons:
- Bloodied Mask: Survivors who destroy a puppet gain the Exhausted status for 10 seconds.
- Tarnished Button: Dread stacks decay 20% slower.
Rare Add-ons:
- Eerie Puppet Eyes: Fake survivor auras from puppets last 3 seconds longer.
- Cracked Porcelain Face: Survivors in a Hindered zone take 2% increased action time.
Very Rare Add-ons:
- Ventriloquist’s Grin: Survivors with 5+ stacks of Dread also suffer from Blindness.
- Sinister Strings: Survivors affected by Strings of Control also become Exposed for 10 seconds if pulled twice.
Ultra Rare Add-ons:
- Masterpiece Puppet: Survivors affected by Strings of Control are fully pulled in after two failed skill checks.
- Unholy Stage: The Ventriloquist can place one additional puppet.
The Ventriloquist combines psychological manipulation with strategic map control. Her Haunted Puppets serve as both tracking tools and zoning mechanisms, while her Strings of Control allow for clever plays during chases. The Dread mechanic rewards persistence and map pressure, encouraging survivors to play cautiously and avoid mistakes.
Her kill mechanic, Final Curtain, incentivizes survivors to manage their Dread carefully, adding tension to the match. Survivors are forced to choose between dealing with the puppets and avoiding her influence, creating a constant atmosphere of paranoia.

Could be that destroying a puppet takes a skill check, if they fail the puppet comes alive and attacks haha
