About Houndmaster's Inconsistent Cool down

To start off I really like the idea going on, but ignoring all the bugs one of the biggest prevalent issues is that Houndmaster's cool downs are inconsistently long.

If Snug came back immediately, the normal cool down would be acceptable. However because Snug has to properly return to even start the chase cool down, plus in many cases we are running away from Snug trying to catch a survivor, this cooldown increases by about 50% on average, more or less.

My suggestion would be to have Snug teleport to Houndmaster after 3 seconds. That way the cool down is more consistent.

In addition to this, I think it would be really nice to be able to recall Snug to end Search early. This could be done by simply holding down the power key normally used to send Snug out.

Comparing Houndmaster to Deathslinger for a moment, she ultimately needs a quicker send time and decreased slow down cause currently it feels awful, especially when not even in chase simply for QoL. But that just might be me.

To summarize;

  • Have Snug teleport back to Houndmaster after 3 seconds for a more consistent cool down
    • We know Snug can teleport because if Snug gets stuck after a while he does teleport. Why not make it plausible more often?
  • Have the ability to Recall Snug early during Search
  • Reduce start up time for Chase and Search
  • Reduce movement penalty for canceling chase and search
    • Either by making the speed itself less punishing or making it shorter because currently it feels really bad, much like switching with old Twins.
