Feedback for The Houndmaster
Houndmaster is a really fun designed character however she lacks a lot of things that would make her excel.
First off her AI for Snug to hug around loops is very finicking and could be improved.
The Dogs path when searching oftentimes is not the most efficient causing you to lose distance just to get the speed boost.
The dog can bump into and get stuck on things to end the path early, but that could be solved with the first thing I mentioned.
Balance Change: Hitting the Dog can already be an extreme challenge depending on the area and or the map, so I don't see it to be fair to be able to stun the Dog when you are already grabbed. I think it's fair to stun it before, but if the grab happens it should not allow a pallet drop. I mean the dog literally has their arms + it would make deathslinger useless if you could throw a pallet when he's reeling you in and his shot is way harder to dodge than Snug!
HoundSense affect seems mostly useless, deep wound just doesn't seem like enough.
The Dog vaults so slow that it's incredibly easy to dodge as well.
The Dog will sometimes path away from you as they drag a grabbed survivor towards you.
Sometimes when trying to path onto a survivor with the dash, at the last second before you select a direction it will auto lock onto a vault location.
Sometimes when launching the dog to complete a dash it will get stuck before it even starts.
Sometimes the dog will not come back to you all the way until you walk towards it and then the cooldown starts.
Balance Change: Considering Dracula has 6.5 m/s in free movement bat mode, and Portia's movement is so limited having to follow an AI generated path that could also be less optimal, I think the speed following the path should be significantly increased to 7 m/s.
Sometimes the speed boost stops working entirely even while following the path.
Balance Change: Let her place the Search further max range without the use of generators for better map traversal.
Balance Change: Let Portia cancel the search/hunt of the Dog on Demand or at anytime with the press of a button. Let her recall early in case the dog lingers to long and you need it cause you found a survivor before it did.
Balance Change: After cancelling the Whistle ability the slow applies way after it actually ends and feels clunky. Either remove the slow or have it start right away.
Balance Change: Make the hitbox on the dog slightly bigger. For AI generated pathing there needs to be some more forgiveness.
Balance Change: Allow the linger duration of the dog to be 2s up from 1s
BIGGEST POINT FROM ABOVE: Don't let survivors drop pallets while grabbed.
