Fixes to survivors giving up

DC : make a reputation system

  • every player start with a neutral reputation (0)
  • when you DC, your reputation goes down (to negative)
  • the matchmaker also takes into account reputation when creating matches
  • survivors with bad reputation (and similar skill) are matched together but you can always SWF between different reputations
  • bad reputation decays over time and / or over matches when you did not DC but it takes a good amount of time / matches.
  • unlike MMR, you can see your own reputation


Throwing : encourage good behavior

  • at the end of the match you can recommend your soloQ teammates to increase their reputation if you think they deserve it (that’s optional, you can also recommend the killer)
  • good reputation (positive) players also get a nice BP bonus (also apply to killer)
  • max reputation survivors get a special emote, you keep it as long as your reputation stays max

Giving up on hooks : rework the mechanic

  • self attempts are only available when using specific survivors perks (or with anticamp for everyone)
  • self attempts don’t progress the bar toward death anymore
