My last Freddy Krueger Feedback before his Rework

For a long time, I have anticipated a full-on Rework of The Killer Freddy Krueger. I already gave my two cents on this forum, but I wanted to finetune my feedback. My end goal is to make this character fun and interactive. I hope this a nice read for Freddy enjoyers.

The problems with Freddy

  • The Dream World

Currently, it is not risky or scary to be in the Dreamworld. It only makes his Dream Traps work and creates a lullaby instead of a Terror Radius. There is almost no need to waste time waking yourself up.

  • The lack of interaction

There is no strategy nor fun counterplay for both sides. The only mind games are teleporting to a gen while chasing a Survivor and using Dream Pallets.

  • Punishing Powers

The Nightmare lacks Power when Survivors are Awoken. Teleporting is severely punished and Dream Traps have no impact outside of the Dreamworld. Most of the Time Freddy is a Killer without a Power.

  • The Add-ons

His kit needs work, but his Add-ons need the most work. Most of the Add-ons have no real impact on the game.

My Fixes to Freddy

  • Make the Dreamworld more Punishing and Dangerous for Survivors

Outside the Dreamworld: Make Freddy invincible to Survivors outside a short range.

Inside the Dreamworld: Make the Survivors' Aura be shown to the Killer for every Interval. Furthermore, Add-ons and Dream Traps should make the Dreamworld more scary to be in.

  • Make an Incentive for Survivors to interact with Dream Traps or Clocks more

Dream Traps: make his Dream Snares and Dream Pallets basekit. Give Survivors more risk while interacting with Dream Traps like hinder them and show their Aura to the Killer for a short time.

Counterplay: Dream Pallets can now stun the Nightmare and interacting with Dream Traps disables the Killer's power for a few seconds.

Dream Clocks: make every Clock available to use.

  • Make Teleporting less punishing

Teleporting should be more frequent and available to every gen at any time. Furthermore, the Nightmare should be more unpredictable when teleporting to a gen and he should know exactly where he is appearing.

  • Give him another way to put Survivors to Sleep (Old Power)

Currently, the Survivors are put in the Dream World by a timer (60s) or being attacked by the Nightmare. Giving Freddy the ability to put Survivors to sleep at a distance, will make him less useless and let him use his power more over time.

  • Give him more useful Add-ons

Ideas for Add-ons:

  • Give Interacting with the Dream Traps more effects (blindness, oblivious, mangled, etc.)
  • Give Dream Traps an Area of Effect (a terror-radius, aura reveal, blocked windows, hinder, etc.)
  • Give teleporting to a gen different buffs (haste, aura, blocking gens or windows, killer instinct, etc.)
  • Punish failing Skill-Checks or change the frequency of Skill-Checks (less/more chance)
  • Lesser Cooldown/ Charge Time
  • More effects while in the Dream World conditionally (blindness, revealing aura, hinder, exposed, etc.)
  • Stealth Options (lower Terror-Radius, more invincibility, undetectable)
  • Endgame Add-ons (faster action speed, blocking gates, etc.)
  • Giving the Obsession debuffs (while in the Dreamworld) or faster (Micro)Sleep
