Just remove the bloodpoint cap entirely at this point...

As of the Doomed Course release, Beast of Prey is now the only perk in the game that gives bloodpoints—and I've never really seen a killer use that perk… I still don't understand why BHVR had the need to remove all the bloodpoint bonuses on all the perks, I would've been okay with the nerfs to certain perks (like Prove Thyself) if they kept the bloodpoint bonus.
There's already plenty of ways to bypass the bloodpoint cap:
- Redeeming any bloodpoint codes
- Completing a tome challenge
- Receiving bloodpoints from the rift
- Rank reset rewards
- Weekly gifts being redeemed in the store
- I think currency from events (like Haunted by Daylight) being swapped into bloodpoints when it's over can also pass the BP cap.
So what exactly is stopping BHVR from getting rid of the bloodpoint cap? Like what are they afraid of?
