The Houndmaster killer is.. dog water

Saying this after finally unlocking her and playing a few matches, watching gameplay and going against her as a survivor and the way they gone about this killer is honestly ridiculous in terms of killers with a minion/companion ie: The Knight and Twins.

Her entire ability revolving around controlling the dog in different ways is kind of decent but the way it's setup with like the chase function is.. pretty poorly designed like you having to basically aim right at a survivor to get the dog to attack them like a ranged attack with how maps in this game are practically maze? And then there is the fact the dog don't even down or hurt survivors like it was originally speculated. This killer is like a combo of Trapper and Deathslinger but worse in most aspects.

The search part is a bit redeeming but again limited in its usage, killer instinct is pretty good so they got this part down but this feels a bit like the Singularty and its ability to find survivors with the biopods.

This killer's entire ability setup I would say needs a redesign cause clearly it wasn't tested enough, half the reviews I am reading are calling her trash and I can now understand why, the dog IMO should function a bit like the knight's guards and chase after a survivor when it detects them in searches and able to be ordered to stop possibly, chase being radius based instead meaning if the dog gets sent down a trail it will have now a detection radius and go after the closest survivor in it, this would make aiming significantly more easy especially on keyboard and mouse. Additionally by default the dog should be able to hurt survivors and even down them maybe as the main feature of this killer doesn't even hurt a survivor and that to me feels like some players would be getting ripped off on their auric cells and I am glad I didn't spend them to get this killer.
